Great post, thanks! As a skincare consultant, I was particularly pleased to hear Gwyn suggest cleansing and moisturising before applying makeup. I always tell my clients that good makeup starts with good skincare! Might I suggest though that a toner might be better for daily use rather than an exfoliater. Exfoliaters can damage the skin if used too often or too harshly. Whereas a toner prepares the skin for moisturising by balancing the PH of the skin. Might I also suggest a primer, as this stops the foundation from going into the pores, provides a lower friction surface making foundation easier to apply, and helps foundation stay on longer. I can’t wait for part 2!
